TURKISH PROFICIENCY EXAM
Kayseri University Language Teaching Application and Research Center (KAYDİLMER) conducts “Turkish Proficiency Exam” for foreign students to obtain the “Turkish Proficiency Certificate” required for enrollment in associate, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs at universities. This exam is an exam for foreign students who want to certify their Turkish language level.
The Turkish proficiency exam is conducted to measure language skills at levels A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 as specified in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The Turkish proficiency exam is an exam to measure the four basic language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). Reading, writing and listening skills are measured in the form of written exams. These skills are followed by a one-to-one (face-to-face) speaking test.
Candidates participating in the Turkish proficiency exam are evaluated separately from “reading, writing, listening and speaking” skills and over one hundred (100) points according to Table 1. According to the average of the four skills taken by the candidates as a result of the exam, the document (certificate) suitable for the language level in the determined score ranges (Table 2) is prepared and delivered to the person by KAYDİLMER within 15 days. The certificate must be personally received by the student taking the exam.
