Each student enrolled in Turkish courses is assigned to the courses appropriate to his/her knowledge and skill level according to the results of the Placement Test.
Course duration is 180 hours for each level (A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1). The courses are completed in 6 weeks, 30 hours per week. Students who complete the five levels will have taken 900 hours of lessons in 30 weeks of study.
At the end of each course (180 hours), a passing exam is administered. In order to pass to the next course, each skill grade must be at least 15 out of 25 full points and the average of the four skills must be at least 60.
A trainee who fails two language skills is considered unsuccessful. For the trainee who fails in one language skill, a make-up exam in one skill is administered within one week following the announcement of the course exam. In order to pass this exam, a minimum score of 15 out of 25 is required.
Although it does not affect the end-of-course exam, a midterm exam can be applied in the middle of each course, i.e. after 90 hours. No fee is charged to the trainees for the Course Passing Exam.
Attendance rate of 80% is compulsory. Trainees who exceed this rate are considered unsuccessful and are not taken to the Course Passing Exam. The course fee will not be refunded for the days and hours of absence.
